Mr. S Leather is a world renown adult fetishwear and toy store. The company sells pretty much everything you'd want for a sexy fetish scene, or anything you'd want to explore a new avenue of your sexuality.
I've limited what I show here, but if you're brave, go ahead and check out the website. This IS a NSFW website. View at your own discretion!
Everything that needed to be designed in some capacity arrived on my desk. A large portion of my job was creating digital and print graphics for the sales floor, social media, and various events - party posters, sale signage, web graphics, and promotional materials for new products.
Before I came into the position, the overall brand was largely dated and hadn't had a dedicated designer in a while. I utilized clean fonts, found textures, and splashes of bold color paired with tasteful erotic imagery to elevate the brand as a whole and bring the company into a more modern light.
A majority of the textures I use are quick iPhone images of the sidewalk or other dirty/grungy surfaces I stumble across in San Francisco.
Before joining the Mr. S Marketing Team, product descriptions were walls of text that weren't easily digestible. Outside of being the largest of the industry, Mr. S really prides themselves on being educators in the kinky scene. Safety, care, and proper usage are all really important topics that need to be addressed for many products.
Shortly after I joined, the site made a major transition design wise. A lot of the previous site was transfered over to Magento without any adjustment to copy or legacy products. The shell of the site got a face lift, but individual product descriptions did not.
I developed a modular sidebar system to help break up long walls of text (with no CSS application) and pull the important bits front-and-center, while making sure that information on production time and shipping costs were written on the wall for the customer.

I developed brand blocks to help a customer navigate the HUGE amount of products the company sells, and also highlight collections of products.
The tables needed a lot of love, especially when a customer is shopping on a mobile device. Variations arose for different needs.
Bandanas have a huge historical significance within the gay community, so putting a modern spin on a historic design while hiding kinky iconography within the pattern was one of the most fun projects I have undertaken at the company. These bandanas continue to fly off the shelves because of their historical roots and clever hidden zipper pocket.
There is some debate on the topic, but Mr. S Leather's original owner, Alan Selby, can be credited with the origin of the "Hanky Code".
Lube labels, sock sleeves, various clamshells, and garment tags were a regular design need.
Internal documentation, order forms, and other formal paperwork crossed my to-do list regularly. Working with other departments was critical for this sort of work so they got exactly what they needed to streamline their own processes.
